Same Date. Different place.
OCTOBER DISTRICT CLERGY MEETING
We will be face to face but 6 feet apart in the renovated Lee Road UMC “Connect” Center.
All precautions will be taken, including your temperature on the way in.
Kathy James and Lisa Fusco will be there in person to walk you through recruiting and supporting Foster Families in your congregation. This is an Epworth endeavor for a new day. Come with any and all questions you might have.
Epworth’s 124 years of ministry yields a depth of knowledge and experience that enables us to see firsthand emerging changes in the landscape of child welfare and to plan effectively to continue to fulfill our mission through the Institute for Child and Family Wellbeing.
Now! We need families and congregations to take the next step and open their hearts and homes to short term Foster Care of children who need stability and love we can offer.
This Clergy Meeting will provide the specifics as to how you enter the process, become approved, what the differing time commitments are, etc.
Please understand that this is not just something a few families do, it is a ministry that your entire congregation can support in various ways.
We are excited to see how Epworth’s presence in the Greenville district can enhance the ministry and mission of churches who choose to partner with us.
Please come with your questions so that we can have a fruitful conversation.
This is our October Clergy Meeting, all active Clergy are expected to attend.
